“It’s the battle of our times.”
F.Y.I. – Annoying auto-play ads are annoying
I have noticed a few auto-play video ads showing up on the site.
I am no fan of these type of ads. They have now crept onto the Front Page. I do not control the content of Word-Ads, but I am a participant.
Direct your ire at a wall. It’s called capitalism.
Hopefully the ads will be few and far between.
I don’t mind the auto-play video ads that you have to mouse over to hear the audio.
Those that have the audio on, I don’t think anybody is a fan of, and I doubt Word-Ads is a fan of them either.
[Especially if it’s 3 in the morning, all is quiet…and BOOM – BUY MY STUFF NOOOOW!]
Word-Ads is constantly trying out different ad partners and such, so some of these annoying ads, hopefully only occasionally – will creep through.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Former Louisiana Gov. Edwin Edwards’ wife, Trina, has given birth to a baby boy.
Edwin is 85 years old; his wife is 34.
A post on Trina Scott Edwards’ Facebook page says the boy was born Thursday at 12:52 a.m.
Also on her Facebook page, it says the boy’s name will probably be Eli Wallace, after her husband’s father.
