Racist graffiti reported at Louisiana high school



BATON ROUGE (WGNO) – This week students and teachers at Tara High School in Baton Rouge were greeted by KKK, swastikas and other racial bigotry spray painted outside three different buildings near the school’s football field.

A concerned parent told CNN affiliate NBC33, “One person’s ignorance or beliefs has hurt an entire school body.”

Another said her son immediately texted her after seeing the hate filled messages.

“It hurt him, he was upset,” she said. “He sent the pictures to me and then after he sent the pictures he sent a lot of emojicons with the sad face. I told him it’s going to be okay son and he was like, ‘I just don’t understand what did we do to anybody? We’re just football players.'”

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office said deputies are currently reviewing surveillance footage in hopes of catching the vandals in the act.
