SALLISAW (KFSM) – An Oklahoma burglary suspect was arrested in Louisiana on Aug. 11, police say.

Naaman McCoy, 25, of Sallisaw, was arrested in Bossier City, Louisiana, according to authorities.

McCoy was sought by the Sallisaw Police Department after a burglary in June, in which, $20,000 worth of property was taken. McCoy was not alone in the investigation, either. His brother, Jimmy McCoy (pictured below), was also thought to be involved. He surrendered to authorities in July, police said.

Naaman McCoy was arrested by the Bossier Sheriff Office on suspicion of resisting an officer and being a fugitive. He is being held in a jail in Bossier Parish and records indicate that he provided a false name during questioning, according to officials.

Naaman McCoy is waiting for extradition back to Oklahoma where he faces charges for his potential involvement in the burglary, police said.
