“There is some evidence that was collected — some forensic evidence — that is still being examined. So we don’t have the results of that,” Caraway said. “We will seek the results of those examinations.”
Kenner Police Chief Steve Caraway confirmed his department is taking the lead on the investigation into the 22-year-old New Orleans dancer’s murder after authorities in Mississippi asked for help in solving the case.
“Their investigation had gone as far as it could, and they didn’t have the resources to move it further,” he said Tuesday (April 22).
