Celebrations all over the world rang in the Chinese New Year this weekend, marking the Year of the Snake with fireworks, feasts and parades. The festivities mark the transition on the 12-year zodiac from the dragon to one of the world’s most despised animals. Those born in the Year of the Snake are believed to be thoughtful, artistic and stylish yet complex characters, according to Chinese mythology.
