Rapides Parish investigators say two teenagers from Tioga High School are in custody Tuesday afternoon after they were charged with 10 counts of terrorism.

According to reports from the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, after investigators responded to email threats made to students and faculty on Jan. 31, the RPSO Cyber Crimes Unit positively identified Jessica Winslow, 17, of Alexandria and Ti’jeanae Harris, 17, also of Alexandria, and charged them with 10 counts of terrorism.

According to the release, the two said “they just wanted to see if they could get away with it.”

They need not wonder any more.
