WINNFIELD – Today, Governor Bobby Jindal cut the ribbon on a new campus building on the Huey P. Long campus of Central Louisiana Technical Community College. The Jindal Administrated supported an $11.5 million investment to construct the new building. The new campus building replaces the original facility built in the 1930’s on the campus in Winnfield. This new facility modernizes the instructional capability of the Huey P. Long Campus of Central Louisiana Technical Community College by providing state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratory space.
The programs offered on this campus include welding, nursing, office technology, carpentry, certified nursing assistant/patient care technician programs, and a variety of continuing education courses. As a community college, this new facility also positions the campus well for offering general education and other college courses for university transfer.
