BOSTON (CBS) – Exactly one month after twin bombings near the Boston Marathon finish line killed three people and injured more than 200, family members of two of the injured victims will walk the entire route of the race to raise money toward their recoveries.
Brothers JP and Paul Norden were both seriously injured in the attack. Each of them lost a leg and suffered burns and shrapnel wounds.
On Wednesday morning, the Nordens’ sisters Colleen and Caitlin, along with their uncle, Peter Brown will start in Hopkinton on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. and walk 26.2 miles in support of the two brothers.
