ALEXANDRIA, La. – Police say Monday that they found the body of the infant in the waters of Bayou Rapides.
Investigators say the death of a 3-month-old that was first reported on Friday resulted in the arrest of the child’s mother. Tasha Jenkins, 33, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Alexandria – On February 1, 2013 at 11:20AM, Alexandria Police received information that a possible homicide had occurred.
APD Detectives began investigating and were led to a location on Bayou Rapides near the intersection of Rapides Avenue and Bertie Street where the body of an infant child was found.
One day you have a baby, next day you don’t. What the hell does somebody like this think? That nobody is going to wonder where the child went? It just doesn’t make any sense. The exact cause of death hasn’t been determined pending an autopsy.
And why oh why are both of these stories removed from both sources without explanation?
