Reps. Steve Scalise (R-Metairie), John Fleming (R-Minden), Bill Cassidy (R-Highland Park), Jeff Landry (R-New Iberia) and Charles Boustany (R-Lafayette), all voted against the proposal. Rep. Rodney Alexander (R-Bienville) was the lone Bayou State GOP member to support the deal. Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-New Orleans), the delegation’s lone Democrat, also cast a vote in support of the bargain. All but Landry will return Thursday when the 113th Congress takes their seats.
