2 Charged With Felonies In Pot-Laced Brownies Case

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4/AP) — Two University of Colorado students have been charged with felonies for allegedly giving pot-laced brownies to classmates and a professor without their knowledge.

Prosecutors Thursday charged 19-year-old Mary Elizabeth Essa with 18 felony counts that include second-degree assault.

Prosecutors had earlier charged 21-year-old Thomas Ricardo Cunningham with similar counts. The incident last week at the school sickened seven students and professor.
