The Quicky’s convenience store in Mid-City takes its parking lot rules seriously. Very seriously.

I have a feeling the community will have a few things to say about Quicky’s with their pocket books.  I know I would never  set foot in their establishment if I lived in New Orleans.

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio -- Cuyahoga County has unveiled a proposal to arm all children entering kindergarten with a savings account to be used to pay for their post-secondary educations.

And it would contain a $100 deposit straight from the county to start them off on the right foot when it comes to saving for their education.

The money in the account would be paid directly from the county to the child's chosen institution at the appropriate time, so funds would not be spent toward anything other than educational purposes.
