Crimestoppers on Monday announced an increase in the reward offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of whoever fatally shot a KIPP Central City student in March.
An anonymous donor gave $10,000 to increase the reward money to $12,500 in the case of 16-year-old Ricky Summers.
Summers was found shot to death in the backyard of a home in the 2200 block of Terpsichore Street on March 3.
The reward will expire March 1, 2015.
Anyone with information about these killings is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504.822.1111 or 877.903.7867. Callers can remain anonymous and do not have to testify to receive the reward.
