New Orleans Police Department investigators said a man was found shot to death in Pontchartrain Park on Monday morning.
Officers said they received a call in reference to a shooting about 6:17 a.m. in the 5000 block of Saint Ferdinand Street.
According to the NOPD, the unidentified man was found lying face down on the sidewalk. He’d been shot multiple times and died on the scene, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call NOPD Homicide Detective Nicholas Williams at 504-658-5300 or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
