1 Killed, Others Injured in Stage Collapse Before Radiohead Concert

(CNN) -- One person was killed after a stage in Toronto's Downsview Park collapsed Saturday afternoon, minutes before spectators were set to begin streaming in to watch a concert by the alternative rock group Radiohead, authorities said.

Ian McClelland, deputy commander of Toronto Emergency Medical Services, said that city paramedics pronounced the person dead at the scene.

Brace yourself: there’s a new teen trend emerging that is potentially life threatening. and it’s all just to get a quick high. Unfortunately, nearly every teen in America has access to it…because teens are huffing gas from air conditioning units.

“It will kill you,” air conditioning technician Lynn Morris of Morris Mechanical told WCNC of Charlotte, N.C. He became aware of the problem after his repairmen began to notice a pattern of low refrigerant in repair units; the only problem was, there usually wasn’t a leak.

Update: High Park Fire, Colorado: 54,230 acres burned, $9.1 million cost to date, 20% contained

The High Park Fire... has burned 54,230 acres to date and is estimated 20 percent contained. Additional firefighters have arrived with more than 1,533 personnel working on the fire with a 24-hour schedule with night shifts and day shifts. Steep terrain, limited access, and the presence of dense stands of beetle killed trees to the west of the fire area are of concern to fire officials.
